Weapons Release sign that was posted
in front of our (the 79th) portion of the hanger. The next sign
is for the radio/avionics shop
The "Tiger Taxi" used
during the 1968 Tigers Days celebration. Airman Tom Howley is
the driver.
One of the famous shots. It is the
F-104 belonging to the Canadian Air Force that was painted over
one night for the tiger days party.
The second shot tends to give credit
to the artists. Needless to say there was some concern among the
commanders about the paint job but, except for the cleaning of
the radome and certain other parts, the scheme was allowed to
stay for the duration of the party.
