Not exactly an RAF Woodbridge photo but there is a connection...
Contributed by Ray Webb

In the 1940s these young men & women (real
working cowboys-from farms & ranches)
in Fannin County Texas,
along the Red River, would assemble at North Texas Rodeos
and
perform on horseback for recreation.
The sponsor; front row right was the HONORABLE SAM RAYBURN, longtime Democratic Speaker of the House from Bonham, Texas. A good number of these working cowboys went on to serve in the US Armed Forces around the world. Some never returned to their beloved Texas & ranch life, others did. Back row, extreme right is Ray Webb who later served the USAF at RAF Station Woodbridge in England from 1955-1957.
